Welcome to the seventh international meeting of the International Society for Mild Approaches in Assisted Reproduction.
It is fair to say that since its inception, ISMAAR has made a significant contribution towards the global trend in reducing doses of gonadotropins, reducing number of embryo’s transferred per IVF cycle and in persuading clinicians to look at alternative approaches to management of infertility rather than resorting to high dose stimulation IVF for every patient. The topics covered in this meeting are deliberately broad. We think we have included something for everyone interested in the management of the infertile couple. The principles of safety, avoidance of side effects as well as efficacy are at the forefront of our clinical practice and will be the focus of this meeting. Attendees should leave the meeting with a better understanding of these principles, along with the practical aspects of ovarian stimulation both with injectable and oral agents, and the other principles of management of patients without ovarian hyper stimulation and other complications of IVF.
